I have a set of 2008 130mm Dual air Revelations without the travel adjust. I have been offered a 100mm FS frame for a very good price. Rather than flog on the fork for very little money, I would like to put them on this frame. I was wondering if the travel can be reduced internally even by 20mm to balance things up a bit?

I'll be interested in buying those if you don't work something out.

I'm pretty sure those will be All Travel meaning that they're adjustable with spacers. But mine are U-turn so I can't swear by that.

For 100mm travel, you need 2x 15mm spacers. See page 4.

The 2008 revelation is the same as the 2006 fork.

its a 10 minute job

you need:
spacers (got a 20mm one here)
15wt oil
24mm socket
5mm allen key
circlip pliers

remove fork lowers (let air out first) - drain oil
remove top cap with 24mm socket and drain oil (5ml of 15wt to lube seals)
on air side remove circlip holding the damping rod assembly in
pull out assembly
clip spacer on shaft at the top
put damper rod back in
put circlip back
lowers on and add 15ml of 15wt oil to the lowers - tighten up bolts
add 5ml of 5wt oil to the air spring side and bolt up the top cap
pump up forks

done

Thanks for the replies, the fork is a good performer so I would like to hold on to it.
