Anyone done this? A mechanic in my LBS was telling me at the weekend that putting in the spacers to reduce travel leaves the same amount of stantion showing, i.e. the axle to crown length stays the same. Is this correct, as it will rather scupper my plan to put them on a Soul?
Just swap them for my revs...

Just swap them for my Tora's...
rj, no he's dead wrong.
The spacers don't let the fork fully extend, they don't stop it hitting the bottom. There length of stanchion should be whatever the travel is, plus 5-10mm.
Cheers ScottChegg, I thought that would be the case as it was when I changed the travel on Vanillas a while back. I was momentarily blinded by the fact that he's a bike mechanic who knows what he's talking about whereas I'm utterly clueless.
