Anyone done the above? Got some 150mm I want to reduce to 130mm, is it possible?

Take a look at the link below:

It shows the ABS airspring (which DT forks from 2011 onwards use). If you can find a spacer that fits at the bottom of the 'stack' then I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work - it would move up the air piston rod by however long the spacer is, hence reducing the travel. But, the spacer needs to be a snug fit around the gold anodized rod and it also needs to be the same diameter as the existing bottom piece of the airspring stack.

That pic appears to already have a spacer in it.
