We walked it a few months back. Up Red Pike and along. I wouldn't bother taking the bike up there, nice walk though. Someone's video from YouTube.

Anti clockwise I reckon- up Red Pike, down High Stile, then down the pass to the lake. The last descent's a belter, and sure makes your brakes hot!
