Yes, of course. But white bikes are lighter.

Well, I'm not saying it is conclusive, but my red Stumpy full-sus feels slower than my Merlin Malt2. That could be due to the tyres though.

Why is is always tyre choice?

Red is the fastest colour known to man so a red bike must be faster than any other colour bike.

My yellow Slolaris was faster than my blue Meta AM at Leeds bike park, so I soldย  the meta!

Make of that what you will...

Yes, of course. But white bikes are lighter.

Actually, white and yellow are the heaviest, the lighter colours have thicker paint. Obviously a raw/polished finish is the lightest.
Lightest isn't necessarily fastest though, so yes, red ones are quickest.

My red DH bike is faster downhill for sure than my black trail bike. My black bike is faster uphill unless on a chairlift or cable car in which case they climb at more or less the same rate... It seems more confusing than I first thought. ๐Ÿ™‚

I thought the laws of physics had changed, and satin black was now fastest, or 'stealth' as it's known?
