I had a ganglion excised from the top of my foot today. General anaesthetic, now I'm back at home. It was 'an impressive specimen' accordingto the medics, approximately 13 x 7 x 6 cm. If anyone has had similar surgery I'm interested to hear about recovery times, practical advice etc. Pics to follow later!

Not exactly the same, but Mrs busydog just had a screw removed that was part of an earlier surgery involving bone. It was 1 1/2 inches long and after removing, she had one stitch and just took it easy for a couple of days (tried to restrict walking as much as possible) and had to keep it covered and dry for a week to prevent infection. After the 3rd day, she was back walking the dogs
