Latest crudguard fell apart on the last ride, this clip on, 1 bolt system seems pretty rubbish, the traditional multi-bolt ones lasted ages.
So what do stw recommend?
Need a post mount one, easy to fit/remove
Topeak and oxford seem really chunky around the clamp so could catch my legs, crud ones are crap, seen a few sks ones with the fabric clamp strap usually at a jaunty angle and so not doing it's job.
Zefal deflector looks like it might be ok, any experience?

mudhugger is the most effective guard i've used but not quick to install/remove.

I was concerned about the size of the clamp on the topeak but it doesn't seem as chunky in real life and hasn't been a problem for the last couple of winters.

(I have this one, but I think mine is supposed to be a 29er version)

I like the guard on the whole, but I would suggest bunging some glue/sugru/something around the lower attachment points for the main guard as they will very slowly wear away at the guard/themselves. Something to stick them together a bit should help here.

heard good things about the mudhugger but I need something quicker on/off

Swanny, that one with a QR looks even bulkier than the others I've seen 😯

I tend to just leave mine on all winter.
