[#2262706]

My current pump appears to have given up the ghost so looking to replace it with something efficient. No point in having something easy on the eyes if it takes 150 strokes to get a tyre up to 35psi...
Any recommendations?

I missed the earlier thread.

Can I recommend something a bit off the wall?

http://www.lezyne.com/products/hand-pumps/mini-pumps-high-pressure/road-drive

Cycle surgery sell them.

The big advantage is that it's of the old-school variety (with an adapter), so you're not vulnerable to ripping the valve off the tube as with the new ones that you push on. So you don't have to be as careful when pumping = quicker tube changes. They're exceedingly well made, all metal/rubber, mine's lasted ages.
