I got one of these at the weekend. Does the job...

I only put the top arms on, for my road bike. The MTB lives under it, on the floor.

B&Q do a clever rail based storage system that has bike hooks. Its based on a long rail that you position whatever hook types you need. Obviously its a lot more than a single hook but if you need the flexibility of easily moving (or removing) hooks then it looks like a nice tidy option. Got a row of 7 along my shed wall using these at alternating heights. Pretty cheap and easy to put up. Just needed to nip a section off the hook for chunkier tyres.

A decent piece of wood with five hooks and banged into the wall worked fine for me. All hooks are the same height so bikes have to be top to tail. Garage friendly, but I'd want something nicer for the hall 😉

Good piece of kit but I couldn't fit either of my mtbs through the hook: 2.35 Hans Dampf on flow rim or 2.5 DH tyre. That's despite cutting a fair bit off the hook.

Road bike sits well on it though, I imagine a 2.2 or below tyre will go through fine. Very well made and secure
