Glentress Hotel has served me well in the past - £30pppn iirc and great breakfast in morning.

Lovely couple, very comfy b&b, and a great black labrador for entertainment. Now I've moved up this way I have no excuse to stay there :(.
Oh, and they have a garage round back to put bikes in if necessary,
cross keys for me. bike storage, pub downstairs with good beer, right in town centre, owner is a cyclist.
