[#2987300]

Can anyone recommend me a lightweight singlespeed frame (alu, scandium, carbon – maybe steel) with an EBB as I've never got on with sliding/horizontal dropouts. I've always lusted after Salsa's Juan Solo but second hand Solos have so far proved elusive.
Please inspire me if you have 5 minutes!
Cheers
Los

Dekerf Solitaire will be on the lighter end of the steel spectrum.

Pricey mind, but I've seen a few 2nd hand now and then.

Is that a Singular? Hmm yes that's on the radar for sure; reckon with carbon goodness it could be fairly svelte…
26 most likely, at 5' 7" I've struggled with the 29ers I've tried.
Always liked the feel of the Dekerf – had a go on a friend's Team SL a few years ago but could only (barely) justify the expense of a s/h one

A White Industries Eno hub at the back might widen your choice...

I can second just how nice the Hummingbird is - with rigid forks and 29" front wheel I reckon that it's the best handling bike that I've owned or ridden.
The frame's not especially light but then there's more to a nice bike than lightness....
