Getting sick of battling Conti road tyres onto camy rims (Yes I know I should have tougher thumbs). Can anyone recommend me a tyre lever / fitting device that may take the effort out without trashing the rims.
Not keen on using steel levers because of the risk to the rims but am happy to be corrected on this (Ive just had to bin my second broken pair of Park tyre levers)
I think part of the problem is that there isn't much int the way of a well in the rims to give any slack when fitting the tyres so brute force seems the only workable method
I like these Soma - steel core (plastic coated), don't know how they'd perform with your rims though.
Pedros work fine on my 5.1s
Pedros plastic levers, or old-school yellow Michelin.
