Gore AlpX – pricey (of course), but works comfortably in light rain and warm weather as well as biblical conditions. Wear a merino layer underneath. I'm a medium and the jacket is a real medium, i.e. not a large! 🙂

i love my Altura Varium, its quite fitted though so watch the sizing if you are "portly"
