After recommendations on what exercise fulfills what I want.
Im a life long bmxer, I just haven't had any passion for it for a year or so. Riding doesn't stop over winter, there's indoor parks and street. There's two voids this has left, the cardio and the strength aspect. I also used to put in a good 7-10 hours a week digging too.
I could clock up miles after mile on a road bike or on the xc bike but IMO this does not retain my strength and coordination like bmx does, I hate feeling weak, means that I can't ride the way I want for too long.
I don't enjoy the whole gym/running/turbo trainer stuff, I don't keep it up.
I've been considering Pilate's or yoga to maintain strength and build flexibility that hopping/spinning/manualling etc etc seems to build up, will these achieve what I'm looking for?
competitive onanism?
great for....
Cardio: Speed up to provide shorter time to completion and/or more times per 24hr period.
Co-ordination: try and hit a target, when you get better place the target further/higher away.
Strength: Try it with your other hand, will improve the strength in that arm.
