Would like some new wheels for commuter. Running Roadrat single speed with 25mm Conti ultra gators and SLX disc brakes. Journey is 25 mile round trip. Just looked on Merlin custom wheels but seem to be neither fish nor fowl. Road bike wheels are non-disc and not sure 29er wheels are quite the ticket.
Currently thinking Hope hubs but what would be a sensible rim to go for? Or am I missing something obvious that I should be considering?

Open Pro is a good solid all rounder. Stan's Alpha 340 is light.
I'm using A719s with xt hubs, been very reliable for over 3 years

Rim - I used Halo Aerotrack due to lack of braking surface.
or you could just buy the cotic roadrat wheels.
