So, the wheels on the road singlespeed weigh 2700g (1200 front, 1500 rear), including freewheel cog and fixed cog (flip flop hub). My mountain bike wheels weigh over a kilo less!
These wheels are bolted.
The only wheels I can find that claim to weigh less are Halo Aerorage?
Any recommendations?

Get rid of the freewheel 😉 If weight is an issue don't bother with a bolt on front get a light road wheel, more choice, I use a miche hub, 32h with open pro's on the road and campag record with ambrosio ultralights for the race wheels, no idea about the weights, track wheels tend to be built fairly tough which may be why they are a bit bulky.
