getting a road bike so now have to get some lycra shorts (not totally sure why!).....dont want to spend a massive sum on shorts so can anyone recommend me some half decent priced ones?
If you're joining a club, get some of the team/club ones.
Else, I've heard Giordana are nice.

I've got some DHB ones from wiggle that i'm happy with.
+1 for DHB, although the fit seems variable, the first set I had were great, the 2nd and 3rd seemed to have the pad in the wrong place, and the material under the pad was too loose so you'd slide arround on the saddle too much, you coudl even catch it on the nose/rear of the saddle off road. 4th pair were fine as are the roubaix longs so either they've corrected it or they were a duff batch.
"Reasonably" priced? - DHB
Cheap but perfectly adequate for commuting/weekend riders? - Decathalon ~£8 for shorts ~£17 for Bibs I think last time I popped in...
Lusso Pro Gel - in fact I find all Lusso products good quality at a good price.
