Yes, I know I'm a tart ๐ณ
Just treated myself to a lovely red Hope rear singlespeed hub to match the front for the lovely [url=
]Hooker[/url]. Nothing wrong with the current ancient rims but I figured if I am going to rebuild the wheel I may as well go the whole hog. With retirement fast aproaching I'm trying to give the bikes some love while I can still afford it.
Not worried about weight at all - looking for something more bronze/Kashima coloured rather than yellow gold. Any ideas? Superstar have a pair of gold XC-430 rims in their sale which are tempting but I'd prefer something a little more robust. Feel free to post pics of your 'explosion in a paint factory' colour co-ordination 8)
Halo Freedom Ltds were available in bronze, not sure if you can find them anymore - http://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/components-c9/rims-c123/halo-freedom-ltd-edition-rim-p3296
Oooh cheers - I'll take a look on the Ison site to see if they have any left.

Surly rabbit hole rims but they're 50mm.
But yes what otsdr linked to
Thanks both - those Rabbit Holes look awesome in bronze - maybe I'll just re-use my old stuff for now and get saving - definitely have the clearance for 26+. Damn, this was supposed to be a cost-saving exercise ๐ณ
Hehe, I can vouch for the going 26+ on those Surlys.
I have them in black though, which wasn't a choice as came stock.
Soooo much grip it's hilarious especially matched with Dirt Wizard tyres.
