Hi guys - newbie here!

Im after some goggles that will fit under a full face helmet. Ideally well ventilated, as I have snowboarding goggles that are hot as hell!

My budget is around £30 - can I get decent ones for this price?

Thanks, Chris

Yes

Spy Targa IIs for around £22 tick all the boxes.
Whatever you do, avoid Oakleys

Second Oakley o frames, they are the perfect size, fit in the majority of helmets, are big enough to run glasses underneath them and tear offs are aboundantly available. The only reason not to get some would be if you wanted roll offs in which case Rip and Roll do some quite competetivley priced roll off goggles.

he didn't mention wearing glasses 😕 He did however mention wanting good ventilation and IME Oakleys have possibly the worst ventilation (and fogging) of any bike goggles. tear offs are available pretty easily for most goggles.

Interestingly, I've used Spys and Oakleys in the last 2 weeks and the Spys were much worse on the venting front. Genuinely awful, actually.

I like Fox Mains.

What situation was did you find they fogged worse in? and which models of each?

I used Oakleys for years then Smith for a short while and have been using SPYs for the last 3 or 4 years. Have Oakley improved in the last few years?
From new I found SPYs to fog across the top but clear well across the rest of the lens but removing the thin foam from the top of the frame cures this (mud almost never gets in there with a full-face helmet)
I also removed the thin foam from the top of the frames on Oakleys which helped but they still fogged v easily and didn't clear half as quick as the SPYs do.

Fox Mains are just cheap Oakleys.

Find out your local MX shop and try a few on, worth taking your helmet with you too.

I know he didn't mention wearing glasses, I was mentioning it to highlight the wider field of vision than most goggles and for the benefit of other people reading the topic. On the ventilation I find all of the mx goggles to be much of a muchness due to only having a single lens, I very rarely have goggles fog when riding, the only way of stopping this problem completley is to use an anti fog solution such as the muc off one. I found most of my local mx shops only stock oakley tear offs and no other brands.

A Fox Main user here, with a 661 helmet, never fogged them up, but I only use them ont he BMX so don't ride in the rain.

Fox Main for me.

They seem to work just fine with my Fox helmets, which is just as well.
