My wife is really annoyed at my trainer wear rate so looking for opinions on decent trainers. Have tried various makes and loads of different price points over the years but same result every time, couple of months and they are ****ed. Have to be trainers as i always wear shorts no matter what the weather is.

So, what can the minds of wisdom recommend me?

Thanks

What sort of trainers?

My current daily wearers are both pairs I have bought many pairs of over the years.

New Balance 577 and Nike ACG Wildedge. Both pretty tough.

If you are talking about to wear on bike I wear Teva Forge mid. Nigh on indestructible.

Adidas Samba are also indestructible.

Nike Air Max 95 look new after a couple of years use. They have a bit of an image problem though.

Im really heavy, and i wear trainers at work. Best ive found so far are merrell, not too dear, seem to be decent quality, current pair cost me 55 quid when i was in canada and show no visible signs of wear after 4 months of use. (Absolutely every day)

Karrimor approach shoes, often cheap at outlet stores, shopping "villages" etc. Decathlon and Mountain Warehouse also do similar
