I have been using an old set of 661 gloves for the past few years and they've about had it. Most of the fingers have holes in.

I need some new ones, for DH riding mainly but I dont want anything too chunky.

What do you recommend?

Mace or Fox. You won't go far wrong with either. Both last better and fit better that 661 in my experience.

Depends on your hands. 661 comps medium fit mine very well and are nice and thin and cool for 3 season use.

I've had some Thor Summer MX gloves for the last year. Good fit, breathable and sturdy.

Can't point you to a supplier as I bought 'em overseas, sorry.

TLD, don't know what ones but cost me £30. They fit really comfortably, and have lasted more than the 6 rides my RFace ones did, and more comfortable, yet light than Fox offerings I've had previously. Sidewinders are good though.

I've given up on 661 they seem to fall apart too quick, best pair so far were some simple Altura ones off Ebay. Currently using some Mace ones, seem pretty tough.
