For a beginner not used to riding in the aero postion....would rather not spend lots so if you've seen some bargains that would be even better!

I got some Token ones. Cheapest out there really, but enough adjustability.

bump for the lunch time crowd - any that clip on under the bars so I don't have to adjust my road position?

Syntace come up fairly frequently on Ebuy.

Go for ones with an upturn, the straight ones are for the ultra-masochistic.

You will make gains from the clip ons anyway, without altering your bar height.
If they fit underneath then where do your arm rests go?

I use the below... Lots of adjustment but a bit of a faff to set up.

Good enough for a couple of Half Ironmans I've done on them... but then I'm NOT a "all the gear no idea fella" ... Prefer the old ...

don't buy upgrades, ride up grades.

That's the sort of type I'm thinking of, the bars under, but pads on tip. I reckon I need the ski bend version though - kind of pointing up at the end rather than a 'S' shape.
