I've been tyring to get a pair of 2.25 Schwalble Albert UST tyres as I have a pair on another bike but are now discontinued.
Recommend me an alternative thats generally OK in all conditions but not too draggy on tarmac sections - want them to replace a pair of Nobby Nic's that aren't grippy enough in the softer muddy bits.
Panracer XC, if you can find them in UST.
Maxxis Advantages - great tyre, im well impressed with mine, head and shoulders above panaracer XC's theyre scary them things and puncture for fun
For this time of year ? Bontrager Jones Mud X.
Excellent.

You can still get Schwalbe Albert 2.25 UST - they've just re-named it with the Fat Albert which now comes in 2.25 & 2.4 flavours - see here. Great tyres - far better than NNs for general riding & best I've had in 6 years of tubeless.
Thanks Farticus - Yep love mine too, so I look into ordering the new type.
