Something racy, and light, ideally carbon but not a prerequisite. I've currently got a alu anthem 26r, so tempted with a bigger wheeled anthem, seen frames for sale for around £700.
Max budget would be £1500, would prefer to spend far less.

The 29er anthem is a good piece of kit, if you liked it on 26, no reason you won't love it on 29er, think mine is a proper xc weapon.
Benji can you confirm the ability of the anthem as per the reviews? I'm considering an Anthem 29 or 27.5 to replace my asr5 with events in mind but don't want to lose the lighting chuckability of the yeti - but can't have both bikes.
Absolutely love my Anthem, it copes with anything, and climbs far better than even my hardtail. As for chuckability, it improved when I went to the Mavic Crossmax SLR wheels, so with that in mind the 27.5 should be more lively than the 29, especially if you chuck some decent wheels in it.
