[#10810932]

I'm unexpectedly going to get a few days away from the office in mid-October.

In the past I've really enjoyed short breaks with WildBikes and one or two others. They tend to be fairly full days and not being in top shape at the moment I'd worry about holding a group back.

Any recommendations for someone who organises rides at more of a pootle? I'll be on my own so looking to join up with a group, and not interested in anything downhill-focused.

It’s tough not to recommend rides organised by free motion in Gran Canaria.

Great fun, all over the island, some uplifting but not dh riding.

Wildcoast Bikes (near Barcelona) have some more chilled out stuff available.

Sierra Cycling (flights into Malaga) run gentler rides (think old railway lines between historic Spanish towns type of thing).

Marvellous, thanks for these.

Anything closer to home if I don't manage to get time to fly?
