[#11748813]

Newbie to Zwift and looking for an event at around 2.2 - 3.0 W/kg. Ideally late morning or midday start.

My FTP is 3.4 W/kg but realistically I can't sustain that for an hour so looking for a group ride where I can work on holding a constant pace for an hour.

I've looked on zwiftpower but it doesn't tell me anything about the even or categories.

I've done 2 events and while the first was fun, the second was full of people riding way above their categories (much higher W/kg) which spoilt it. Does that happen a lot? Seems a bit vain and sad just to get a better place.

For the convenience of practically any time, have you tried joining a "pace partner" juggernaut group ride on Wattopia?

Thanks, I'll have a look into that.

Tried out using a pace partner and it worked quite well.

It looks like you have to add the pace partner from the start of the ride and can't add one once already started. It would be good if you could add one mid ride or even swap to a different pace partner.

If you have the companion app you can search for group rides and then select the category ie. power range you're looking for. They are often the best for staying at specific power outputs.
