Just bought a set of carbon road wheels and mate is now after a pair. He wants to go down the "hand built" route and, seeing as I know nothing about this, wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction. He's after a set of 50mm clinchers. Cheers.

Make a pilgrimage to see Big Al at Wheelcraft in Clachan of Campsie. He'll build you wheels, give you banter and let you make up your own price. He's a legend for a reason.

oh, and bring bisciuts with you.

Depends where in Yorkshire you are, looking to have some carbon LB wheels built by Barry at Firth Cycles in Queensbury. Has done a re-true for me and have seen some he's built. Gets good reviews on here.

Riders cycle centre in Skipton! I had wheels built there. Really good and good to get out on your bike up there too
