Coed-Y-Brenin is within Snowdonia National Park. Snowdonia is a big place though and has loads to offer, and he may be asking why your limiting yourself to CYB (and possibly a trail centre).
I went to CYB for the first time last month and I would say theres more than enough there to keep you busy for two days. The Machynlleth trails are also very close so may be worth considering them before Nant Yr Arian if you need extra trails. I havent ridden the Mach trails so cant comment on how good they are but heard there good. You wont be dissapointed with nant yr arian either though.
...I still love the idea that someone would drive from Norwich to Llandegla to ride, passing within a few miles of .................... Snowdonia to get there
I think your Satnav may be on the blink..... 😉
must have taken the scenic route! 😀
There are other trails within a short drive of Coed Y Brenin. You have the Climachx trail, Llandegla, Marin Trail, two trails at Penmachno, Mach Trails. More than enough for a couple of days away....
Nant Y Arian is about a 45 minute drive away (assuming you are staying somewhere close to CYB).

Yes, may be. Well, I only have limited time and want to focus on one area (or two) rather than superficially nipping into several (and spending more time driving between places than riding).
But thanks for pointing out more in the direct CYB area. Staying in one place for two nights is also less hassle.
🙂
