Really good considering the price and that You get a coded transmission HRM. Watch has a backlight, all the batteries are replaceable without any tools, You get a nice soft bag and a handlebar mount. you can set Your training zone which is handy and also there are 3 pre set zones. Good thing about it is that it's very easy and intuitive to use but still has most of the functions You'll need and also sports a memory to show Your results as a daily/weekly/monthly sum. Very high quality and doesn't look too bad. Check for prices on different websites as I got mine under £40. Coded HRM is very usefull as I had a basic one before and sometimes when riding with my mate who had a wireless bike computer it started to behave funny and showing my HR as 0, or other people HR if You ride in a group 🙂
You can also look for some second hand Polar HRM but the nice bike specific ones (my mate has a S520) are still pretty expensive and all the functions are a bit too much for a start. Nice thing is You can upload all results and view it on Your computer.
