Can anyone recommend me a good 20+ mile route for Saturday morning around Skipton Malham cove, I know the are via road but after a good ride out with techy climbs and run downhill runs
Cheers
Run downhill runs?
Where are you starting from?
Yeah reading it back it really didn't make a lot of sense ,
Ideally start in Skipton or maybe Settle (Settle loop looks ok )
Yorkshire Dales 300/200
just take bits off that!

Thanks postierich .....
With help from others this seems like a goer http://www.pedalnorth.com/content/settle-loop
Settle loop as described there is only about 12 miles or so. You can extend it into a nice figure 8 either by heading down to Arncliffe cote from Malham tarn then round to Kilnsey and up mastiles. Or heading past jubilee cave after stock dale, dropping into Stainforth then heading around to crummackdale for a Bw loop finishing direct to the road outside settle from feizor.
If you're after a bit more tech downwards then there is a nice loop from Skipton which has a few nice descents on it.
Not starting from Skipton but not far up Wharfedale is this;
Start in Kettlewell http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=396847&Y=472325&A=Y&Z=120 and go up Cam Head http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=396999&Y=475300&A=Y&Z=120, down to Starbotton then up the road to Buckden, turn left and take this bridleway http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=393626&Y=477450&A=Y&Z=120 over to Litton, down to Arncliffe and this bridleway http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=392993&Y=472195&A=Y&Z=120 over to Moor End and back down to Kettlewell.
The BW leading down from Moor End to Starbotton is quite technical in a few places and could be an alternative finish but means a bit more road to get back to Kettlewell.
