hi, me and 2 mates are going for some mtbing in the peak district on saturday. I have found the jacobs ladder route online, but its only 18miles. anyone know any other good routes, maybe about 30miles or so?

It's 18 miles in the Peaks. That's very different to 18 miles anywhere else!

Haha yes it is only 18 Miles. You need to do a min of 30 miles absolutely, especially in winter.

where you from monkey boy?

you could double your jacobs loop with a trip over around around the ladybower loop.

ie:

Edale, mam tor/jacobs loop, then follow it on over hope cross, the beast, hagg farm, lockerbrook, round the resevoir, up whinstone lee tor, and back over to edale.

that's about 30 miles, but as it's a figure 8 you can jump ship when you get back to edale after the jacobs loop.

Thanks for that, ill look on my map and check it out.

Ah man a couple of hours in the peak district will be fine, but yes ill give you an update on monday if you want.
