I ride in the Lakes quite a bit but I've never really ventured over there - we've got a cottage in Boot for a weekend soon.
Can anyone recommend any routes? Don't mind a bit of hike-a-bike or a reasonable amount of climbing but I'm not fit enough for a long all-day epic.

There's two that I can think of. I'll try and find some maps for them.
Boot > Burnmoor Tarn > Wasdale Head > alongside Was****er > Irton Fell > Miterdale forest > Eskdale Green > bridleway alongside south side of River Esk > cross river to Dalegarth Hall > Boot.
Road bike up and down hardknott 🙂
