As per description, anyone got good or bad stories about pannier racks that can be fitted to frames without eyelets?

www.oldmanmountain.com makes racks which use the wheel axle rather than rack mounts.

Tubus racks can work with a special QR fitting, so they don't need braze-ons. I think I've got one of the cheap Cargo ones left in stock...

You also the seatpost mounted ones but they are limited in the weight they can carry.
Im trying to find something similar but for a Alfine bike so the OMM ones are out.

Is it a steal frame? If so you could have the eyelets added.

Thule pack n pedal rack - can fit fore or aft and comes in 2 flavours one of which, the tour, will take side frames for panniers.

Thule bought the system from an NZ company so they have been around for a while as Freeload racks.

Works fine.
