Looking for a new bike. Something sturdy that I can attach a kid seat to on the seat tube, winter hack and possible commuter on the odd occasion when I need to drop the wee man off at nursery then head to work. Wife is activley encouraging I buy a suitable bike so to good a chance to miss.
Considered the new Kona Unit ss, but for the price I could pick up a 27.5+ or fat bike both with gears which might make it easier humphing the wee man about on the back. Also considered the charge midi and maxi range.
Rigid fork, no frills. Budget £500-1000.
Any suggestions?
Don't say "steed", but I've got a Charge Cooker Maxi (the GX geared one) and it's brilliant.
