Amusingly, as I don't even have a bike yet, I have decided to replace my beat up Giro Monza as I have had it for 3-4 years and it's looking a bit worse for wear.
What is currently new/worth getting? Going to be use for road as well as CX, so guessing a roadie helmet is the way to go. Ideally be available in black, lots of vents and if possible a lower profile than the Monza. Budget is £50-£100.

Catlike Whisper from Halfords, 86-90 quid.

Good for CX because it doesn't stick out at the back, so doesn't catch when you shoulder the bike.

Hmm. I think I prefer the Leaf to the Whisper, on looks anyway. Guess I will have to see if my local Halfords has any in stock.
