Nowt better than Hope for the money.

CK headsets are excellent too if you pick up a S/H one.

Cane Creek trump CK from what I have read.

Creek is spelt wrong , its creak. Well on my bike it did. Never ending noise. 4 rides old and binned. Fitted a hope one, which is OK, bearings are a bit specific. Kings have been spot on , on all my bikes they are fitted.

I think most headsets are good out of the box but some resist the outside world better than others.

I have Hope on one bike, Cane Creek on two and Superstar in another...

Depending on size, a Cane Creek 40 can be had new for £30 which is usefully cheaper than Hope...
