I have a free day next weekend all to myself, no kids, no work, no house repairs. So I intend to go up a mountain with my bike.
I live in Dundee so would like something within 90 minutes if possible (2h max). I've ridden up in Clova/Prossen/Loch Muick many times. I went up Ben Lawers last autumn, view was great but should have gone back down Beinn Ghlas rather than the flank. I prefer rock tech and steep stupidity over wide/fast flow trails but am partial to ribbony single track.
I regularly look at @munrobiker threads but they often seem to be more to the west.
Anybody able to suggest something suitable?
Be worth checking out Mctrail Rider's channel on YouTube. Sure he must have been somewhere near you at some point.
