With all this rain I've finally had to admit that my current jacket has failed, despite all the re-proofing I've done. Any recommendations for my new purchase? I've always had Gore in the past but Altura now do a nice looking women's jacket but it's pretty pricey.
Thanks

Have a look at the Montane stuff over at www.fieldandtrek.co.uk. Not all cycle specific but some really good jackets at the right price.

A lot of the Montane stuff is great but more like thin water resistant jackets, great for leaving permanently in the bottom of the bag for "if" it rains. I have a Race Face Aquanot jacket from Chain REaction, they have some more corking sales on at the minute and if you buy through top cash back so extra money off

'Tis true, much of the superlight montane stuff is more showerproof than fully waterproof ... I'm talking about some of the other stuff that's very much waterproof and breathable, like the jacket below ๐Ÿ˜‰

My partner has an endura stealth jacket that is wind and water proof - she has worn it on practically every ride since the end of Oct. with just a merino long sleave thermal underneeth from freezing weather upwards. Good piece of kit.

Gore for me too. Mine's even got a hood.
