Looking for a cross fork, not too expensive about £130 max but would be happier if it's less.
I was about to buy an xwing/empella fork from ebay but then read all the brake judder stories...but worried about this as this sounds a nightmare. The bike will be my main road/winter trainer/ cross bike (crosslight frame) but the only cross race i am likely (want) to ride is the 3 peaks as I am terrible at short races (and never going to do a road race, just training).
I am tall (6'2) so might make the judder thing worse? But will be using mini v-brakes because I want power and have memories of spending hours trying to set up canti's...
Any suggestions?
Was thinking of the kinesis crosslight alloy fork but is this too harsh? Or are the carbon horror stories just that...
