Was looking at shimano xt cranks, but then found out you can only buy the left one on its own. Just need 2 cranks, no chain rings. To go with 4 arm middleburn chainrings, preferably with a spider.
buy the xt and sell the rings on here?
I was thinking that, the cranksets Ive found look nice, but some cost more then it would to buy shimano xt cranks chainring and bb together.

Seen that as well tails, but I think the bb is the wrong width (for a santa cruz chameleon).
However if its cheap enough I'll bid and then sell the bb.
I'm almost 100% sure it will work i own a chameleon (new style) i have xtr fitted and believe when you fit the bb you just add spacers if the shell is 68mm or remove them if the shell is 73mm. So the cranks on ebay should fit, although please double check this advice before buying.

I just bought an FSA chainset from On-One for £65. V Drive & megaexo BB. Cheapest i could find it anywhere else was £110 on CRC. Fitted it to my gf's bike last night and it seems pretty good. Again, you could sell the rings (and maybe the BB if you don't want it) making it a very cheap purchase. The rings on CRC are around £60 on their own.
Get XT, I sold the rings for a mate on here a while ago for £50 no probs, and another guy a while back was asking £50 for some second-hand ones so it makes them reasonably priced when you flog the rings. I bought arms only for £55 off of here and love them, especially with my shiny gold hope BB 😀
