[#2450586]

Fancy another bike and being 6ft5, I fancy trying this 29er fad.

Can you recommend me a complete ss 29er for less than £800? I need an XL and so far I have
- Kona Unit (2011) for £770 Kona Unit
- Felt Nine Solo (2008) for £600 Felt Nine

Any advice about those two or any other gratefully received. I like slack and low bikes as a rule but not sure how that relates to 29ers, especially given my budget.

Diamondback mojito is a long way under your budget good as a "Fad trial" VFM option...
not sure it comes in anything bigger than 20"... I'm sure someone will correct me...

Look for a Mojito - might be some second hand floating around.

Wish I'd got one when they wre selling them off at £200, would have been a cheap commuter even if it hadn't worked for me anywhere else.

Maybe the Mojito is a bit lower end than I was looking for. Any more suggestions?

You could just use the £300 you saved to get some nice forks and tyres

I got my Kona Big Unit from Winstanleys for less than £800.

They were great to deal with and I'd definately use them again.

I did call the shop before placing the order though, just to make sure the had the bike in stock.
