been looking at Hope Pro2 on DT E540 or 5.1, but wondering if there's something almost as good for a bit less cash.
mid-size rim width, for general trail stuff, not DH.

I'd say go for the 5.1 personally.
When you consider how much a hub is from Hope and then the complete wheel build it is an awesome deal in my book.
I've had nothing but good performance out of mine,it's taken a kicking and still performs flawlessly.
