I'm after a simple and light chain device for a single ring. Have converted the bike to 1 x 10 and need something to keep the chain on the ring when things get choppy...
Ta
Blackspire Stinger
Stinger won't stop the chain coming off the top of the ring will it?
Superstar XCX gets my vote. Cheap, light and has been surprisingly effective. Not dropped the chain in 6 months of abuse on my 'chucking down steep stuff and jumping around in the woods' hardtail.
Depends on the bike and your intended use really, i have a Superstar plasma chain device teamed with a Gamut bash guard on my Pitch but that's more for my dh orientated riding.
If its on a xc/trail bike then a top guide should be all you need, an MRP or the Superstar XCR should do you.
Thanks - opted for the Superstar one though I'm now wondering if it'll function ok with what is an eliptical chainring...
