looking at riding to the train station everyday for my commute and therefore need a lock to secure my bike for the duration of the day.
so i'm looking for a relatively light and portable lock but one that is also secure enough that I wont worry about the bike being nicked. it needs to be postable so I dont leave it at the station (the staff cut my last one off when I left it there for a few days last time I got the train to work)
Which do you use and would recommend?
nothing that is light and portable 🙂
I use an oxford shackle lock that has 16 mm shckle and weighs 2 kilos. Look at motorcycloe stuff. expect to pay the best part of £100 for something that has more than deterrent effect
plenty of ideas here, if you have some time to read through it all that is....
Almax Immobiliser Series IV - I doubt your local station staff would be able to cut it off.. 😈
This is 16mm thick and reasonably cheap.
