Second hand - I paid about £30 for my MRP G2, and about £15 for my Superstar Plasma.

You'll need a set of single chainring bolts (the current ones accomodate for 2 rings - bash + middle). About a fiver from CRC.

E-thirteen xcx is worth every penny. Superstar might be cheaper, but is noisier and doesn't work as well.

I use a superstar plasma on a single CR setup. No issues at all with dropping the chain and its been well tested with 4 months of guiding in Spain with it fitted. The one thing I had to do was hacksaw off part of the upper guide, but this was due to my frame design and clearance issues rather than the guide.

Bash or non bash versions.

Its ISCG but comes with an adaptor for BB mounting.

Its not silent but not overly noisy either. No way I'd pay what some cost when this works perfectly well.
