We skipped the 20", they seem really heavy unless you pay a fortune, and went for a Rayleigh Awesome 24 inch boys 08

Seems decent enough, for a seven year old it looked a bit big at first but he was off like a rocket right from the start.

Specialised Hotrock has been beaten to a pulp over the past 2 years - with a big grin!

I've got a diamond back bike with 20 inch wheels, which you could have cheap. It's got and aluminium frame, 6 gears etc and is a nice little bike, although it has seen plenty of action. Let me know if you would like pics. I'm near Basingstoke.

Quite possibly the finest and lightest kids bikes...

The daughter has the isla cnoc 16 and its brilliant, really well thought out even has undersize bars and brake levers that a 4year old can operate. My son has a 20" scott scale and thats very nice too.
