charlie the bikemonger (on website or ebay)

Excellent service, plus he gives out some of his corny stickers with every order

As above for me, excellent service, free stickers and cracking products.

I work for an LBS but still use Charlie ๐Ÿ™‚

I use both Charlie and Velosolo and find them both great.

Oh, and my personal preference;

Chainring- 36t Surly steel
Cog- 18t steel King or Surly
Chain- KMC610HX 3/32"

As above, Charlie is your man, I'd also recommend Surly (I useboth chainrings and Surly cassette style rear sprockets) and I also use a Gusset halflink chain, but mainly because it looks nice ๐Ÿ˜€

If you're not sure on anything, it wouldn't hurt to ask Charlie, he knows what he is selling very well.

FWIW I like to use 34/17 on a 2/1 ratio as the uneven teeth don't result in an odd chainring tooth wear patern, but 36/18 would probably last a bit longer as it's biggerer

Charlie, HubJub, On-One, and sometimes SJS Cycles. All good.

BUT try your local bike shop first. You may get advice that stops you buying something that doesn't work.
