Can anyone suggest any must do roads, only conditions, i must be able to get from Queensferry to Chester via whereever by bike after work. I am working here a few more weeks and starting to get some rides in and just wondering if there are any places i really should go.
Most of the roads seem quite busy is this just a fact of life or am i on the wrong roads, although last nights ride to the foot of the horseshoe pass did get a bit quieter further out.
The road down to Holt and Farndon is quite nice, then once you get to the A534 (Wrexham Road) cross over then turn east. Takes you through Tilston then onwards and back north again round Beeston Castle and Tattenhall. There's a place called the Ice Cream farm between these two places which is very popular with cyclists. Further north from there is Kelsall, then even onto Frodsham and Helsby.
There's hundreds of miles of quite Cheshire roads. The links below show a couple of routes near there that I've uploaded to Bikely.

There's few routes on there called Chester to Middlewich commute. If you string a couple of those together they might suit too.
Edit - somthing perculiar is happening with the links, preusme they'll still work though!
