lacrosse bc 700?
Have a look at 7dayshop.com someone on here reccomended me one from there, seems decent enough for not much cash.
Technoline BC900 (same as Lacrosse 700 but higher current) or Maha/Powerex C9000 with Sanyo Eneloop batteries. Well worth the money over the standard rubbish which I found out the hard way.

7day shop +1 had my 4 cell fast charger from them for years, using envelop batteries now most of the time. Alternatively what about the USB batteries, got a couple them too and really handy, 4 for £10 iirc at Costco, no need for a charger just flip the end off and stick it into USB slot.
This is probably overkill but if you charge AA, AAA etc everyday then - Google - Ansmann 16. Around £100+. They do a cheaper 8 and a 4 too (I think).
Everyday for the last 8 years it churns out properly charged cells and about every 2 weeks report a problem with a single dodgy one / slow charging or discharging one. Monitoring is on individual cells. Discharge is automatic if required, Nicad, NiMh, etc.
I charge a lot of AA's btw. You probably dont need to spend that. Just an option like.
I have an Ansmann 8 and would echo couldashouldawoulda comments simply the best.
