Thinking of a challenge for 2012, last year I did the S2S route (St Davids to Lowestoft) which was 503 miles over 5 days. I'd quite like to do something similar this year but have no idea what?
Any ideas? Can be on/off-road or a mix of both.

Pennine Bridleway? Not as far but a lot hillier. Fully open in 2012.
I am putting together a 4/5 day loop in the Lakes at the moment. Stat from Penrith and head over High Street, Ambleside, Dunnerdale and then North and East back to Penrith. Getting my maps out over winter!

Lands End to John o Groats-- it's only about 900 miles. Easily done in 5 days.
